After-School Program 2014
When it turns cold, it is tough getting the kids outside to get the exercise they need. Cataloochee offers one of the few outdoor recreational opportunities for young people in western North Carolina in winter. It is a place where local kids can learn new physical and mental skills, get fit, and socialize safely in a controlled environment. Please remember, Cataloochee's After-School Program is growing and changing. Read carefully to ensure you get the right program for your child.

NEW this season, click HERE and purchase your child's after-school program, ONLINE!

The five-week course includes a 1.5 hour lesson, which will begin 4:30PM Tuesday (Elementary), Thursday (Middle/High School) starts at 5:00PM, and Friday (Elementary) starts at 5:00PM. Helmets are included.

4th & 5th grade elementary students can choose between Tuesday nights for snowboarding (SB) and Friday nights for skiing (SK). Thursday nights are for Middle and High School students. First session for the Middle and High School program is Snowboarding (SB) and second session will be Skiing (SK). Once you select the date you would like to ski or ride you must maintain that particular day for the 5 weeks. Siblings can participate if they are 1st grades and up for the five-week program as well, see pricing below. Remember age limit for snowboard (SB) is 8 years old.

For kids without a sibling in our regular afterschool sessions, Cataloochee is offering any 1st through 3rd grade elementary student two four-week session programs on Wednesday nights beginning at 5:00PM for skiing only. Space is limited, so don't miss out and sign up early!
