Group Lessons
In a group lesson you are matched with other skiers or boarders at your skill level and placed with a certified ski or snowboard instructor. Lessons are available for all skill levels. Group lessons are for age eight and above. Lessons last 1.5 hours and start on weekends and holidays at 9am, 10:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm , 5pm and 7pm.  On weekday, non-holidays, classes begin at 9:30am, 11am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5pm, and 7pm. We suggest you are here at least 30 minutes prior to the time your lesson begins to sign up and be ready to get out on the mountain. Please remember classes are on a first come, first served basis.  Reservations are not accepted.

Group lessons are $20 per person.

Private Lessons
If you want the individual attention you deserve and an opportunity to build skills at a quicker rate, a private lesson is the answer, whether you’re a true beginner or an expert looking to take your skiing or riding to new heights. Your personal ski or snowboard instructor will customize a lesson based on your ability level and specific goals for the day. Private lesson times run from one hour to an entire day – you choose.  Email our Snow School office at skischool@cataloochee.com for more information.  Please remember private lessons are on a first come, first served basis.  Reservations are not accepted.
