Cataloochee's Intro to Skiing or Riding lesson is FREE with all ski and snowboard rentals any non-holiday Monday through Thursday! That's right, Cataloochee goes one step further to make sure your first on-snow experience is a great one! Cataloochee offers this introduction to skiing or snowboarding lesson FREE when you rent your equipment from the area. These one and a half hour sessions are offered non-holiday Monday through Thursdays throughout the season and are done with our NEW station teaching method with no wait for lessons.  Instructors are available all day and are ready to teach you the minute you arrive!  Lessons last 1 1/2 hours and you can return to our beginner's area for a refresher at anytime during the day of your visit.  Ready, set, get on the SNOW!
